dyno charts for T3 on different motors?
anyone running a straght t3 on their motor and have a dyno chart to post? im just wondering what the powerband is like cuz everyone says that the t3 on high revving (b-series) motors has no high end. is this true that the t3 spools up too quickly to boost at high rpm? if anyone has any dyno chart for running a t3 on any motor i'd really appreciate your post. thanks
Yea, what is considered high rpms? 8,000 I'm sure, but what about like 6,000. I was thinking of turbocharging my 73 Super Beetle, so this would be useful info.
This is 8lbs untuned on my ITR with a straight T3 from a Chrysler LeBaron. This is stock block and stock head. We rev'd to 8300 on this pull.

If you specify a the T3's trim, and engine you'de get a more accurate answer. A 1990 b18a flows air a lot differently from scooter's engine.
Nice flat torque curve there scooter. Looks like you're making 100 foot pounds at anything over around 3000rpm(@32mph).
Stu, a 73 beetle is air cooled right...that things going to run a bit hot with a turbo eh.

hey thanks for posting your chart scooter...i guess on your car the turbo realized its power around 7500-8000 rpms which isn't too bad.
well as for trim? i was thinking something conservative like around .50 a/r on a stock b16...
