Default t3/60-1

I think that is what the turbo people are using is called. COuld someone post some info on it. Dyno charts would be especially helpful.

On a b16, or any b series engine. fully built

what it is is essentially a 60-1 with a bored out t3 housing to fit the exhaust wheel... it will make plenty of power and spool up pretty quick due to the small t3 housing but a t4 housing would open up the top end tremendously

Ok. I am trying to find info for a friend of mine who insists on spending $2100 on just his turbo. It is some big *** one from turbonetics, dont know which one exactly. He is in the process of building a drag car with a b16 bored to a little under a 1.8. I thought that maybe the t3/60 would be a lot cheaper and give good results.

Is it new? Warranty? I would like to see some dyno graphs that show what type of power they make up top. Will they make 500 hp?

I just ordered one from slow *** 4 door for 600.00, Paul is a good guy. I was running a t3/t40e .48a/r, 57trim, but need some more power for the track. 60-1 is pretty much the only way to go if you are running a flanged t3 manifold and want wicked hp #'s and good track times.

yes, I believe I said 600 bucks brand new...they will make way over 500hp....just go to the garrett or turbonetics website and look at the 60-1 compressor map...

just to let you know, there is a guy in here from FL with a t3/60-1 pushing 434whp and running 10's with his Yellow ITR....I think his screen name was sherbaz or turbotypeR , something like that....

Yes, with the b16 it never makes it to the center efficiency, just not enough CFM. Yet I've called a few tuners and they keep telling me to go with this turbo on my motor if I want the 500+ hp.... Anyway I'm going with it because with all of the headwork I'm sure my head will be flowing good numbers.

All I'm going to say is this: Some of you guys seem a little bit anctious about getting into a 60-1 but be forwarned!! If your car is mostly street driven and you like to street race or have that extra amount of power coming in at 2800rpm with your t04b or to4e turbo application switching over to a 60-1 is a night and day difference.
With the 60-1 in my car I start spooling up at 4k and got full boost at about 4800-5000rpm and thats with a full 3" dowpipe and thermal 3" exhaust.
So basicly you go from no power to crazy *** power.

Default t3/60-1 on drag manifolds

the 60-1 uses a TO4S compressor housing, which is much larger. If using a drag manifold, you have to flip the compressor to the opposite side and loose the a/c.

It wont bolt up to greddy manifold you can make an adapter from mistu flange to a t3 garret style flange.
