Something interested to re-ignite the spark plug wire debate
Now, I am a big MSD fan, but this is interesting even though it does not include them-

I may be ignorant (no need to comment on that) but I don't see how that graph shows a misfire. Since NGK makes OEM wires for Honda, why would they make a better quality wire for Honda than wires with their own name on them? Both wires are great, BTW
I didnt notice any misfire or anything either on the graph but the point shouldn't be that ngk's suck but that oem is just as good as anything out on the market.

Oem wires have worked wonders for me, I once was a Magnecor wire groupie but that only lasted a month before I was swearing up and down a storm and went back to OEM wires.... Now I even try to use Honda wires on the 1970 Jeep Cherokee..
Besides,
Isn't NGK the OEM wire manufacturer for Honda anyway ? Because, I though I once saw it in most Honda plug wires..

my oem wires say sumitomo on them (98 b18b). I would've only gone with the ngk blues since they were cheaper, but maybe I'll just stick with oem
Well, on my next motor I'm going back to NGKs because they work fine and they are the cheapest. Even a little cheaper than OEM, or at least from what I have seen. 10 plus years of paying MSD prices for plug wires is starting to wear me down.
yeah. i've been meaning to replace these NAPA wires.
nyeh, they fit like poo but were the only available ones during mid-swap.
