Default smaller diameter tire = higher FD

Hey guys~!
what is the smallest diameter tire is there for 13 or 14" tires? So far I've seen 175 60 13. need to get smaller~! any experiences or insight? My tall FD is killing me after third gear. thanx~

There are 175/50-13s out there. I think they're Yoks. Its a size they did for Minis. Also, you could do the Hoosier 225/45-13s, but you'd need wide wheels.

i ran 16.2 in a 89si hatch with a y7 motor all stock. The tires are great with a dx tranny but way to short with the si tranny. i was towards the top of fourth through the 1/4. i will say that 0-60 it is pretty quick. no traction probs at all with sumitomo htr's for tires though. i live in orlando.

yea i have the same setup but on steelies and 0-60 is unbeatable.... WRX has **** on me

i was able to put 15.0 on a mini me without vtec with those tires

coupled with si tranny shortest ratios ever i cruise at 4k+ on the highway haha
