HELP!! Is this rod knock???

I just can’t quite tell if it is or not, I’ve daily this car since last august and this noise has been there since. It’s only in. neutral or when light throttle cruising. if i’m going up a hill at 2-3k rpm with throttle the noise isn’t there. neither is it when i’m accelerating after a stop.

I can’t really tell much from the video. Maybe get under the hood & the car to see where it’s coming from.

 

it sounds like it’s coming from the middle/top of the engine. you can hardly hear it in the cabin but on the outside it’s kind of prevalent. only from 2-3k

 

Is this a manual transmission? Do you hear the noise when the clutch is disengaged? Maybe get a flathead and put the handle to your ear, and probe around for where the noise is coming from? ( unless you have a mechanic’s stethoscope- it’s well worth the minimal investment)
