Hi everyone!

I got a 97 honda civic coupe its a turbo setup and after doing a launch control, ( with pops and bangs) I got a check engine, since i got no obd reader port I did the paperclip thingy and got code 41 which should be main o2/ heater circuit error. The thing I dont understand is that the car is in limp mode, it wont go past 2k rpm in whatever gear I put it in... I got no missfires or other weird thing.
Anyone got any idea why the car is in limp mode??
I got no security tune or what so ever.
I tried VSS sensor, unplugged battery and ecu. none of it worked. also driving 20 min home in 5th gear the check engine light did not get away..
