Sooo, I have replaced a lot of parts thinking it could be the problem but the car still doesn't start but It turns over. I have replaced the distributor, spark plug wires, spark plugs because it wasn't getting spark. Its getting fuel. The ECU turns on when i turn the key. I don't know what to do. Any help will be appreciated.

 

What error codes are you getting? My car was turning over but would only start once a day. Turns out I had a hole in a coolant hose and the system was full of air bubbles so the coolant temp sensor couldn’t work properly.

In addition to the spark and fuel you also need the right amount of air for the car to start. Could be an issue with your IACV, air intake, throttle, etc. If you tell me how many red flashes you are getting on your ÉCU I can check my mechanic manual.

 

Sorry for the late reply, I'm not getting any check engine codes. I have a new IACV, The engine was running great, I pulled it out to change the transmission because the one i had in it was welded and kept braking cv axles. So I put the 4 speed back in it. All I did was pull the engine and switch out the transmission. Now its having this problem. Thank you for the response

 

I think it might be the ECU...

 

Did you forget to re-attach the ground to the thermostat housing?

 

Are you getting a check engine light? maybe try swapping to a good ECU to see if that helps.
