I was gone for a month and rats were able to make a nest in my cabin filter area. I deleted the ac/heater core cause it was shredded!! And disgusting. Well I was able to save some but I am having a hard time with these four grey wires. Not sure what goes to what?!

Side note: sorry new to this but I have a 2000 honda civic ex manual with a d16y8.

 

The gray wire from the brake switch goes to the Cruise Control Unit. The black box looks like the cruise control unit.

 

The other photos appears to be the Keyless Door Lock Control Unit and the Starter Cut/Horn Relays; respectively.

 

YOU ARE A LIVE SAVER TECH8!! I came across more wires another set. Are you able to help with these as well? Green with a red line wire?!

 

Look closely at the green/red wires... there are silver "bands" on them and they are different patterns when bundled together, so you may be able to match up the wires simply by their band markings/patterns.

 

Hello jrcivic, yes I did check the pattern they all have the same two dots, which have the same distance between the two so no difference in pattern.

 

The 22-Gray connector is Connector C401. The light green/red wire is from the door switches to the ceiling lights. The light green/red wire is part of the door open circuit that also ties into the keyless receiver unit (in the stereo) and the keyless door lock control unit.

 

Last ones I SWEAR!!! White with green stripe wire. I have four lose wires

 

Possibly the power wires from under-hood Fuse No. 52 that feeds to (1) the brake switch, which then feeds the cruise control unit; and/or (2) power wires to horn relay contact or coil.

 

Hopefully bot too much to ask but I am not working on my engine harness and have this one wire I cannot seem to find where it belongs?!
