EK climate control in EG civic
If you use the climate control relocation kit for the EK with that center console piece swapped into an EG, could you swap in the EK’s climate control unit into an EG then use the space for a digital head unit and turn the single din space into gauges?
I wouldn’t think so. There’s a kit for the ek civic for relocation of the climate control, and the center console piece from the ek can be swapped into the eg. The biggest issue would be wiring
I think that's a 96 Odyssey climate control, the buttons are too rounded for 96-98 ek.
Probably same tho, and based on my understanding of the ek wiring, this should work fine. Blend door actuators should have same range of motion. Let us know how it goes

This photo is NOT what you described. What you see here is a tablet in the original audio and climate controls locations and the original EG climate controls moved down into the single DIN slot of an EK lower console. You asked about installing EK climate controls into an EG dash... the EG and EK climate controls do not function the same.

Hate to burst bubbles, def not a tablet. You can see the android radio volume back and home buttons backlit on the left side of the screen. Android radios have gotten huge. Just measure the hole, buy a large enough android radio to fill it. It kind of looks like the 10in android radios.
Android radio ≠ android auto. You want to find an Android 13 14 (currently). It should say a number if its real android. Android auto doesnt let you install apps. Tunerview or realdash are awesome for gauges, connected to an oem ecu or aftermarket. And my other go-to app would be NewPipe. Open source, ad-free youtube/soundcloud

... But, you DID say this was all going into an EG... and you DIDN'T say you were going to swap to an EK dash... so, since we here aren't "mind readers", maybe you could be more forthcoming with your plan, and then members here can be of more help.

severe lack of reading comprehension on your part. The original post said using the center console piece from an EK with the climate control relocation kit.
