If I gradually give it gas through 1 and 2 but as soon as I hit 3rd it starts misfiring like crazy so I can’t really get on it at all

 

Need more information. Does it bog in first and second if you press the accelerator too far or too fast? Does it do it in neutral? Is there a check engine light? Based on what you said so far, it sounds like low fuel pressure.
