Can't find. SOHC Vtec head conversion on 99 D16 DX Hatch
Thanks in advance for pointing me in the right direction. I'll always try to keep it short. I can wrench
I have a 99 DX Hatch....I have the opportunity to take the vtec head / ECU and anything else I might need from what seems to be a 96-98 ( judging by the front end of course) Civic EX coupe.
What all would I need from this car to make this happen ? Am I looking at complete head / intake manifold with throttle body and everything that's connected to the intake manifold , ECU ? anything else ?
Ive read knock sensor ? Also would love to pass emissions if that's even a possibility. I'll post photos soon! found a single owner 99 Hatch that im restoring to OEM + since I have access to a paint booth and I paint.
Thanks for any leads !

Actually a secondary question. If the end game is to put a little bullshit turbo kit on it......Would it be more cost effective to just get a different OEM Honda intake manifold ? Is the Vtec gains even worth it ?
Goal would be like 250Hp on boost and would be willing to upgrade some bottom end internals but wondering if this VTEC head thing is just pointless ?
