I can't find this part. I want to print it with a 3D printer, but how can I find the image?

It's 100% the same like a button "OFF-1-2-3-4" on the right.

I'm sure nothing bad should happen if you do it gently.
I've done this many times when removing the air vent panel. It's not difficult. Just gently pry it off and don't use too much force.

Another thought, a 3d printed one is not going to look identical, IMO. Might as well just make a new design, print it twice, and replace both for consistency sake.

Did you remove it by hand or with a screwdriver?

This makes sense, but only if you are indifferent to the appearance of the car's interior and do not pay attention to the use of original interior parts.

I removed it by screwdriver but very gently.
If you're afraid to use a screwdriver for fear of damaging it, try removing it by hand. I think it should work too.

I have a climate control unit sitting here already partially disassembled and was able to pull the slider apart with just my fingers.

Here's how it clips together.

The protrusion where the button should be placed has gone inside and the button won't snap on directly; I think the internal mechanism is also faulty.

If so, it isn't the missing button that is the biggest problem in your case.
In my opinion, the air conditioning panel needs to be replaced.
