here's the problem...when i took off the timing belt i only marked the top of the belt..i didn't mark it at the crank...
to me...but anyways...i tightened everything else with the new cam gear...and now my car boggs like a mother...i know my timing is WAY OFF...and im off a few teeth...how EXACTLY do i fix this problem? how do i move the belt to its proper position?
this is stressin me out.....

You didn't have to mark the belt. Just take off the belt and line up the mark on the crack pulley and timing belt cover, set the head to TDC, then put the belt back on. The cam gear should have 2 marks on it to line up with the head to set it at TDC.
Timing belt cover is for wimps, with the belt cover and crank pulley off, you will see a line on the crank and an arrow on the block, line those two up, much more accurate.
OK you guys are to breif.
PLace flashlight level with the ground and shine on crank pully. Look to see 3 marks in the pulley furtest edge to the pass side. Line up the V with the arrow and line those up with the 1 mark all by itself a few inches after the 3 teeth things.
The set the camgear to up and so the marks like _ and _ are level with the surface of the head.
thats it.
