2004 Honda CRV surging at 3000rpm
On this CRV I'm getting P0661 and P1077 codes IMRC system. I installed a new solenoid but problem did not change. I removed the intake manifold and removed the rotating valve. I cleaned the inside of the intake and the rotating valve assembly with brake cleaner and reassembled them. Does the runner have to have vacuum applied while installing it into the intake manifold?
I tested the runner operation while installed in the intake manifold by using a vacuum pump. The runner seems to drag inside the intake while rotating. The car was drivable before cleaning but that may be because it had a lot of oil on the runner and intake so it operated smoothly enough to drive.
Any ideas?
