F23a1 vs f23a4 ecu, car swapped by prev owner
So I found a 2000 accord coupe with a manual for cheap. 258k miles but supposedly engine was "rebuilt". Either way good deal.
However, I noticed a ULEV sticker in the window but it has the f23a1 motor as far a I can tell.
I'm hunting down a couple codes for rich/lean and its got a crappy idle half the time. found a few cracked vacuum hoses and tried to clean iac, but problem persists.
I know the ulev motors have a map and a maf, but this motor only has a map sensor.
If it has the original ECU (from f23a4 ulev) could that be messing with the idle? How could I tell, would it throw a specific maf code? can I check via obd2 or can I tell by looking at the computer itself?
Its otherwise stock suspension/exhaust etc so I was hoping it wouldn't be such a unique car to try to diag. This info is hard to search for though.
Car is rust free so I want to get it right but Ive never owned a Honda car
