Default PCV Original Bushing fell inside the Breather

2000 Honda Civic LX with D16Y7, 80K: Changing the PCV Valve - What a terrible job! Kit came with Plastic Valve, new Hose, Clamps and Rubber Bushing. In trying to get the original Bushing out, it fell inside the Breather Box. Appears to have a metal band on it. I can't fish it out through the hole in the side of the Breather. Is it safe to leave it in there and just install the new Rubber Bushing, Valve, Hose, etc?
Tnx, Florida Rich

It's a Grommet not a Bushing. Sorry!
