Experimenting with catch cans on a naturally aspirated D16z6.
Installed a radium catch can with this radium pcv valve between the black breather box and the intake manifold.

if i remove the black breather box and just use the catch can, the catch can quickly fills with oil.

With both, catch can catches an ounce of oil or so on each oil change.
are the seals gonna blow out or is this ok?


This is on the catch can, intake manifold side.

 

What is your reasoning for adding the catch can to a NA D16Z6 ? The stock oil separator box is more than adequate.

 

Just the normal benefits of catch cans. It does catch some oil water mixture, which must keep pcv valve cleaner as well as intake.
mostly worried about the pcv valve not being oem

Started with breather on the valve cover trend,
swithched to oem setup for valve cover to intake tube, which having a catch can between there never catches anything, ever.
