As the title states I have checked the water control valve and it is OK but the cable won't move. Removed the heater Control Panel and see that the temperature adjustment is electrical and connects and controls whatever controls the cable. Can anybody tell me what the control motor part is and where it is located.

Thanks for responding to my post. I have those diagrams, but they don't identify what controls the cable that opens and closes the heater core water valve. I suspect that one of two things is bad, the motor that controls the cable movement or the temperature control **** on the heater control panel. Also, if the motor is bad where is it located before I start disassembling the dash. `

 

The water valve control cable is connected to the air mix control linkage (D), passenger side, where the air mix control motor is also connected to.
