Default Gsr trans with LS axles int. Shaft not going in

I’ve done a lot of research and can’t find an exact answer. I have a b18a1 with a hydro gsr transmission from a 1997 integra. Before I had a LS transmission that I replaced with 1994 seals so I’m sure the axles from the LS are 1994-2001 but the LS axles will not go in the gsr, not even on the passenger side although I haven’t tried that hard, but the half shaft will defenitely not go in I’ve tried hammering it putting a lot of grease but it’s like 1/2 inch off from the bolt holes it kinda slides in but won’t continue. I believe the seals are from the gsr originally so possibly the seals are preventing it since it’s a 5mm difference is the gsr and ls seals? Do I need new axles? Is it my differential itself? The half was very hard to take out my old LS transmission if that helps very lost heard it can be the clips too.??? And it is a manual half shaft so Idk why the LS half shaft won’t go into gsr trans.
