Icon5 Increasing track width 99 Civic EK

I saw a +50mm body extension for sale, but the question arises how to increase the track without using spacers. I heard that installing levers from a Honda CRV slightly increases the track width. Maybe someone has already gone through this? Any advice?

Sorry for google translate.

Cut the car right down the middle and then weld in a 50mm strip to reconnect the car halves.

Might be challenging to find a windshield after this but the added elbow room in the cabin will be worth it.

Have you considered changing the wheel offset to a more negative value ?

Yes, I have considered this option, but it is close to using spacers. Ultimately, if I do not find a solution, I will most likely install wheels with a large offset and possibly spacers for adjustment.
At the moment, there are already 11mm spacers on the front axle and 5mm on the rear.

I know that the rear trailing arms from a DA Integra have a slightly wider track width than the one that's shared on the civic/dc2/crv, I think about 50mm but I might be mistaken on that. And that would only be rear track width of course.

Might have some other issues with brake line mounting if you swapped to DA rta's
