Does anyone have or know anything about the Tanabe Racing Medallion? (Im looking to buy it) The main question is this, Is TRM loud, raspy, and tinny sounding? (I would like to know how it would sound with headers and a test pipe?) Sound files and sites would help alot!

its horrid.
hated it on my itr. luckily the dealership sent me the stock exhaust.
the TRM is long gone.

stay away from it.

Rice boy this - **finger up**. At least the TRM comes with a silencer that changes the sound to that of a stock R w/AEM CAI in comparison & stock idle.

Honestly, it is the "lowest" frequency sounding R I've come across besides the Jun exhaust **barely**.

Just don't plan on sneaking up on anyone!

It's loud as ****. I'm gonna get a different muffler, I like the piping for it though.

People can really hear you coming. It makes your engine sound like it's always trying really hard when it's not.

i have it on my 96 gsr. it is loud indeed. but quieter from the outside, though. inside may be unbearable for most people. sometimes i get a headache while at the track. dragracing that is. and it does not sound like a can of bees. raspy? i don't know. someone define it for me. if you want to hear it msg me and you can call me and i can rev it for you over the fone. i'm selling it, too so if you want it let me know or click my sig for more info.

 

It's very loud without the silencer.

 

I am selling one, all cut up at the B-Pipe because it was welded.
