Default EG civic b16a swap

sorry for posting on here but OZhonda is currently having problems.

I have recently bought a b16a (JDM) and am now looking at transmissions to swap into my EG. The seller has found the original transmission and is willing to give it to me for $500 AUD (roughly $300USD). the problem is i have just realised it is a cable transmission. I have a couple questions about this, some may be stupid so please bare with me.

What will I need to fit a cable transmission into my 1994 EG8 civic? as in what parts for a swap

if i where to change route, could I fit a hydraulic transmission to the b16 and have it work as normal or do i require a conversion?

thank you all

The hydraulic transmission will bolt up to the B16A and work as desired in your EG chassis. The earlier cable transmission will bolt up, but you will need a cable-to-hydro upper transmission conversion mount and some type of cable-to-hydro clutch release system. Flywheels are interchangeable, but the clutch disc must match the input shaft spline size of the transmission that you use. In addition, the release bearing differs between the cable and hydraulic transmissions, so make sure you get the proper one.
