Default 2010 Will the air bags deploy again.......

Guys, just got my first 8th gen Civic and learning to clear up its problem. It was in a front end accident with deployed driver airbag. Front left sensor leads were cut. Car was driven by PO with no airbag or front sensor connected. I got sensor and airbag replaced. Have learned thru this great site that the SRS module now has a hard code and requires sending out the unit for a professional reset. I plan to obtain one from a salvage yard and have it "cleaned" and swap it in at one time. Question is , even though the existing module has a hard code from a previous deployment , will it still deploy the bags NOW while operating the car in case of an accident . If not, I don't want to be driving the car till its safe again....thanks

Okay, Guys, what a huge learning curve this has been for me. With the use of my new scan tool I have been able to track down and eliminate most of the SRS trouble codes. With air bag deployment you get a permanent code. This is where you have to send off your SRS module and those folks who can take out that code. If you replace the module with one from another car, you will get a 'vin not matching" code. So, it's better to send off your original module, get it reset, and back installed. Cost me $40 bucks from a eBay vender. Next came both male and female ends of the driver seatbelt. I was able to find both of those in a salvage yard and swap them out. That cured those codes and saved me a few bucks from sending out those two and having them recharged. Those two charges were blown at deployment, same as steering wheel air bag. The front left crash sensor has two wires, both look like same color wire. Mine was cut completely in apart so I just crimped them back together. Now, the only code i am getting is " Front left sensor not found". I am trying to find a wiring diagram that shows pin location and wire color codes from the SRS module to the front left sensor. I have tried swapping in another sensor from a salvage yard car and am still getting that not found code. So, does anyone know where I can find that wiring diagram? And Im back with the same opening question, if you have ANY code that triggers your SRS light to stay on, does that prevent any air bag deployment in case another crash occurs?

Update: After scanning the net trying to find a wiring/pin diagram I called seatbeltmasters.com, the folks who did the reset on my module. Unfortunately, they did not have a pin location diagram for the wiring that's still causing my problem. I m getting code 41-11, Front left sensor not found. The tech I spoke with DID confirm that if you are showing a SRS dash light, triggered by ANY code in the module that the entire SRS system is inoperable. If your car is showing a SRS light, there will be no air bag deployment should you be in a crash. Now, back to searching for that pin diagram.....

Update #2, Having no luck finding pin location wiring diagrams, I decided to redo the connection involving the splicing at front left crash sensor. The two wires were cut in to during a previous car crash. While the wires were both the same color, Lt blue with silver markings, I decided to swap the way the previous repair was done. VOILA, that cleared the code , no more SRS dash light. YES, finally. Either one of my previous connections was bad or swapping the wires corrected the voltage path. Anyway, on to fixing my last persisting dash nag, the ABS light.
