Hey thanks jr1 do I need to be filling and checking this from time to time? Let’s keep this going I’m just in need of some help thanks.
do you know where my radiator fan connector is at or did the previous owner cut it off for this aftermarket headlight in the pics. Thanks again in advance
The wire colors appear to be those of the cooling fan plug. The OE connector has been cut off and spade connectors were used instead. The female side looks burned... I suggest you replace all connections.
Hey man I appreciate your help! But replacing the connectors is a lil out of my league ha. Not even sure where to begin, I did find the wiring to be a little odd and would benefit to tighten things up here’s some other pictures any suggestions on what’s going on? Again thank you for your advice! I guess I need to find a new male connector for this? This is my new fan connector going in.
Could get this for now, just not sure how to go about installing it. but in the future should I just get one of those eBay tucked ob1 wiring harness for like 60 dollars? Thanks for your help man!
this the one I was thinking of getting in the pic.

The crimp connectors at the bottom left of the pic above are used to connect the new plug wires to the original chassis fan wires. You would simply strip back each of the wires HALF the length of the crimp connector, place the piece of heatshrink over one of the wires being connected, crimp the wires together, slide the heat shrink over the crimp connector (centering it) and heat it. Repeat this procedure for the other wire.
Alright cool ya, I have to get it done so getting the part, mean time I’m replacing pretty much the whole cooling system right now. This all started with a leak from the hose that carries coolant through the iacv, but also there was a leak and a lot of rtv under the water pump seal. Im not a huge fan of that I’m pretty sure it says not to in the book.
Run far way from those cheap harnesses. You can get a really good budget harness for $400-$500 if you need a new one. Your fan isn't on the engine harness anyway though.
The connector I linked you to is $3, not sure why you'd go for the $30 option instead.
New problem, trying to get this gear back on but the key keeps popping out from the back. Any suggestions? Thanks again.
I figured out what I was doing wrong. I took this apart at the beginning of the year and just now putting back together.
