No crank and no start
1990 Honda accord EX and I have gotten a new battery for the car. So far checked and all lights and blinkers work. The car has sat for about 6 years so I am replacing a few things on it. Just wanted to see if the car would possibly crank since it has no gas in it that’s what the gauge says but it didn’t do anything. I am replacing the spark plugs and wires and valve cover gasket since there is an oil leak from the new oil I poured when I did the oil change. What else should I look or possible change out since I want to get the car running. The car was running before but it had an oil leak which is why it sat for so long. I replaced the slave and master cylinder to the clutch and bleed it as well as doing the fuel filter. Just need some guidance to what to look at next
Do all the warning lamps on the dash come on on initially turning key to II(ON)?
With the transmission in Neutral, run a jumper wire from the battery to the starter motor solenoid. Small spade terminal, not the large cables.
Does the starter motor spin?
If not pull the starter and have it tested.
If it does function, verify wiring is not damaged.
Also check the clutch pedal switch is functional.

So the lights all stay on when you turn the key. The motor is not locked up thankfully so when I took off the starter is was coated in rust and dirt. I think the starter is done for and need to be replaced. I checked the fuses and they are all fine and intact. I am getting some new spark plugs in a few days along with the wires and valve cover. Is there anything else I need to look at to get the car cranking?? I already got a fuel pump and well the clutch switch looks fine and was told it was already replaced. Is there anything else I will need to replace
Have the starter tested before you pay for a new one.
On M/T starter there is a cover on the solenoid that can be removed to inspect the contacts.
If its corroded/worn out these parts can be cleaned up and/or replaced for a quickbcheck to verify the actual motor is still functional.

I honestly didn’t know you can replace the solenoid on the starters for the manuals. I am going to get it bench tested and hopefully I can get the distributor tested as well since if they are both good than I can work on fuel system since it’s all I need to do other than change out the vacuum lines
