Default Ac Line Suction Line Port Issues - Honda Accord 99 2.3L

Hi All,

I was just looking for advise on A/C leak on the low side suction port. I have tried changing the valve a few times now. Its seems to hold for a short while, but within one to two months I've lost enough refrigerant to have to recharge the system again.

I suspect its the schrader valve on the low sids as it shoots a bit tiny bit of refrigerant if I leave the cap tight enough and long enough. Compressor replaced in 2023 as the original was leaking around the compressor bearing/seal.

I've thoroughly inspected the system with uv light and and nitrogen at one point last year, I can't find any other leaks in the system other then this finicky slow low side valve leak.

I'm wondering if its a issue with the threads in the port or maybe the aluminum where the schrader valve seats to seal maybe has corrosion or damage which is difficult to see.. just speculating.

sticker in the engine compartment shows it has a recharge in 2008, if i had to guess its been problematic for a while.

Has anyone had similar issues with this generation civic or accord holding refrigerant?
