Default Exhausts???

I have a manual civic and I was wondering if there’s a difference between the auto midpipe and the manual midpipe? If there’s like a slight bend or something like that that would cause it to hit my shifter?? If so what does anyone have one for sale or a brand they recommend? I’m currently running no muffler just cause I don’t want to be taking off and putting stuff on and off multiple times. Thanks in advance

I'm sure there is a difference on your 1973 Civic CVCC with no catylitic converter........ Or do you have a 1988 civic wagon? or........

You know it helps if you provide your full car details, Year, Make, Model and Trim. There are many little differences between them all. Unless you like blind pot shots in the dark for replies.

That helps. You can probably also answer your question by using the US based Hondapartsnow.com website. Compare exhaust parts between the trim and transmission styles of the 2000 Civic LX's. If the part numbers for the mid pipe stays the same between them, then you know there is no difference. If there is different part numbers, you can search the part numbers and quite often get pictures from third party vendors to see and compare to get an idea of the difference.

I am most familiar with the 92-95 era so I'm unable to answer off the top of my head for a 2000 Civic.

Auto to manual swap? EG linkage? old exhaust hangers? Short shifter?

Did you go under the car and see where the the linkage and exhaust might come in contact?
