Default idler hell

So i've been having difficulties figuring out my next step with this honda, its a 2000 ex d16y8/y7 block mini me (automatic)build which i consider stock, aside from the exhaust and headers which are aftermarket. The problem(s) its been having is mainly bouncing rpms, specifically within the range of 1.3-1.8k rpms while in drive. I had this reoccurring problem on my previous similar honda but this one was completely stock besides exhaust and it was top to bottom d16y8, my brother had figured out after a while that it was simply a vacuum leak, which i had looked for on this current honda, which i have smoked. There can possibly be something i have overlooked but as of now, i have changed the IACV, ive changed the TPS, the PCV, (the voltage fine on all as of now) and virtually anything that relates to idling lol and the problem persists. We also messed with the timing a bit, and it seemed to work, but eventually the problem came back and even worse, but this time it was due to the missed step of not programing the TPS, which led to extremely high rpms when in park. They would be steady at 2500 and even locked my shift ****, once programmed they dropped back down to 1.3k which was what it was at previously, not great but alot better than 2.5k. After countless videos and help from mechanics, I am starting to lose hope for it and was wondering if anyone had any similar problems and can give any advice, or if i should be realistic and cut my losses lol. Thank you to anyone who is invested and took the time to read.

I have been pretty fortunate with idle and my Honda's. However, the one time I did get bouncing idle, it took me three IACV's from my box of used parts to get stable idle. I've tried cleaning IACV's to no avail. And since the parts don't seem to be available anymore it's a pain to find a working IACV. I'm not sure third party IACV's will be as good as the Honda one's.

This is a good point, they do say that OEM is always better haha. Tough luck on whether or not ill find an original honda IACV, feels like a unicorn. Thank you for the advice!
