you dont know what a main cap is... hmm its the caps that hold the crank in place the main caps.. Its where your main bearing go.

 

No offense but, if you don't know what main caps are, you really shouldn't be looking to buy a block. You will probably get screwed on the deal

If you buy just a bare block, you are going to spend a ton of money on all the OEM parts you need if you do not have another block to swap them from.

oil pan, oil pickup, windage tray, crank pulley, timing belt gear, tensioner, plastic covers all add up quick...unless you have those things I would suggest looking for a complete motor.
