1994 d16a9 IACV
I have a d16a9 civic sedan 1994. I live in South America so parts are hard to come by. The idle was all over the place so did my best to order one offline. Got here and while the ports and lines all line up, including bolts, it looks a bit different.
I installed it anyone with it's seals and now the car idles at 3k.
I installed it with the batter disconnected. Haven't had a huge amount of time to troubleshoot.
Any help would he appreciated. Feels like everything I try to fix turns into month like big nightmare.

Sounds to me like a large vacuum leak. Do you have a way to smoke test it? I’m not saying whether the IACV is working or not, but there could be a different cause for the high idle. Generally speaking, that’s indicative of a vacuum leak. Hope it helps. Good luck.
