What coilovers will fit on my 89 EF7 CRX
Hello,
Any advice would be appreciated on this. I am trying to find coilovers for my EF7 CRX but can only find ED8 CRX coilovers online ready to order. Will these fit on my car? And if not, what are the differences?
Or, do I use EF Civic coilovers?
Any other CRX owners out there, what coilovers did you use on your car as $5000nzd for custom built ones seems a little much.

You should be able to search crx si coilovers and find plenty of options. Usually everyone runs ground control coilover sleeves on koni yellow shocks. It will run you around a $1,000 usd.

Just a little nervous to buy them because all the coilovers shops are suggesting that their suppliers dont have any for an EF7, but i am thinking that may be because they are only looking under EF7 and not any other chassis codes that would fit it.
Oh actually I forgot about the rear control arms.
On 88s in the US (ED) civic/CRX came with "JDM" rear control arms, box style with eyelet rear shocks. Then for unknown/unspoken reasons Honda changed the rear control arm to a cast version, so the shock is different.
However, 89-2000 civics/Integra in the rest of the world, had the same 88/JDM rear shock and lower control arm.
The rear control arm is interchangeable. No real difference.
So if you get an ED set of coilovers meant for USDM 89+ suspension, then just get some aftermarket rear control arms to match. No big deal.

Do you think that EF coilovers for the same year but different body style would work? Sorry for asking so many questions. I really appreciate your advice.
