Cruising at 20mph 40mph or 60mph, all the sort of low- mid cruising speeds the car does NOT respond in any way to giving it more throttle until the pedal is almost wide open, then naturally the motor revs high trans drops a gear an it goes. Used to have very good throttle response at all rpms/speeds. Any suggestions?

 

scan for codes , plugged catalytic ? Have someone rev the motor and see if a healthy blast of exhaust comes out the tailpipe , What do the plugs look like , how's the air filter ?

 

Cat has less than 1000 miles. New plugs, head gasket, timing belt, rebuilt trans. Before the trans was rebuilt and the first few weeks after it had great throttle response just barely pressing the throttle. Now it's doing this. I originally thought the TPS might be on the fritz but itdk.
