Crank no start
Just purchased a 1998 Honda civic coupe. It came with a d16z6 in it and is manual. It has spark confirmed, fuel confirmed. But I don’t know what to check next. The distributor is new, plugs new, wires new, the fuel pump kicks on, and the injectors spray when cranking, it has good fuel pressure. But it also has a slow/weak crank. Any tips/ help? Also the ECU is a p2p with jumper and the battery has been fully charged on a maintainer overnight off the car. I’ve tried using a different battery and still have a weak crank. Tapped on the starter a couple times too.
check timing and compression.
curious about the setup: is it a Z6 short block with Y8 manifolds? Y8 oil pump (dip-stick near crank pulley)? why is there a jumper at the ECU? OBD2a to OBD2b?

it is OBD2a, the dip stick is in between the headers in the middle. I haven’t checked timing yet, nor compression. I will soon when it stops raining here.
