Default Should I buy MaXpeedingRods brand coilovers?

A quick response would be very helpful.

I was recently in an accident and have camber problems now; im going to replace control arms, but suspect my shocks are possibly damaged too.

With my price range I could either:
  1. Purchase an entire set of full coilovers from MaXpeedingRods
  2. Purchase just the strut, and reuse my spring and top hat (but maybe my top hat is damaged?)

I hear bad things about MaXpeedingRods, and I understand with something as important as shocks you don't want to cheap out... But it's either I fix the car with the budget I've got, or do nothing and lose my job from not being able to drive.

How can I tell if I even need to replace them in the first place? Maybe someone can help me with my other questions I've posted? Thank you, God bless 🙏

NO
They are junk. Never had any of their crappy products and don’t plan to either

if you have a budget of around $600, opt for Progress CS2 coilovers. They are made in Southern California and have been in business for well over 30yrs.

I was going 20 or 25mph and hit into a car that ran a stop sign, do you think this wreck could have been enough to damage the springs? I have overly negative camber after the wreck.

Without seeing the actual car, it’s hard to tell. I wouldn’t use any of their stuff, even if it was free. Sorry, not wasting my time and energy on subpar products.

I agree, I will not be using their products. I have found some Sachs brand struts for $60 each, so if my springs are still good I think that would be a good option. I'll try to upload some pictures of my suspension in a little while. Thanks
