Engine won’t start
I have a 1998 Honda civic that I just replaced the engine on. It now cranks but doesn’t start. I have checked that it has compression, spark, and fuel. What could be the problem?
also the radiator fan is always running even when engine is not on.

what were your compression numbers like?
what method did you use to test spark? fuel?
check the timing, both cam and ignition. make sure the plug wires are in the right spot

I had 150-160 in all cylinders expect 1 which had 130.
i checked all the plugs, they are in the right place.
for fuel, I can tell that the spark plugs are wet and smell like gas.
and for spark I took the spark plugs out, still attached to the wire, and see that they spark when I turn the key.
