I'm having issues with my shift linkage in my EK civic with my H22 I'm NOT doing a H2B swap im using the stock hydraulic trans. I just need to know how people are running the shift linkage without binding, or where to drill the hole for it to transfer into the cab. I'm using a hybrid racing shifter so its NOT under the floor but running up into the cab where it is visible. Please help I want to finish it for me and my son to enjoy.

 

You should use the shifter that fits under the car... going up into the cockpit puts the cables in a bind unless you push them through the firewall where the heater hoses SHOULD be... which means that you lose your heat. Is this a race car or a street car for you and your son to enjoy ?

 

Does anyone know of anywhere else you can drill a hole for my shift linkage in my Ek fire wall that won't bind up the shift linkage or hit any existing components under the dash.
