Default Wash Squirters screwed...

Ok silly question time.
Is there any way to adjust the pressure on my washer squirters?
I have cleaned them out, so they arent clogged with wax or anyhting. What else could cause low pressure in the washer line? Bad hose, poor seal on the resovoir?
They used to have pretty good pressure, now they barely squirt.

is there a crack in the line before it splits off?

is there anything visibly wrong with the resevoir, lines, anything?

if its the squirters themselves, you could always get some of them tight light-up ones. ***Disclaimer: That was extreme sarcasm***

Try unclogging the nozzles with a needle and see if that helps...

Blow high pressure air through them from the pump side. If they are really bad take them off and soak them overnight in mineral spirits and THEN blow high pressure air through them.

thanks for the advice. By mineral spirits, you mean anything like paint thinner right?

you know, that would probably work good. as long as it didnt hurt the paint.

I'd be a little leary about what it would do to the paint but it WOULD clean 'em out. Mineral spirits will dissolve any wax buildup without hurting the paint. You can get a Qt. at KMart, etc. for about a buck.

I had the same problem. I cleaned the nozzles out and they still didn't work so I ended up replacing them with new oe nozzles. Their alittle pricey the drivers side cost around 20 dollars and the pass. side was like aroung 10 to 15 dollars. So I bought two pass side because a pass will work in the driver side nozzle. BTW the led nozzles are illegal in most States.

If you want to try something you have at home, try dishwashing soap mixed with water. That stuff will take the wax off of your car, so it would probably get the wax out of your squirters, although not as fast as the mineral spirits.

thanks for the suggestions, i'll give them a shot. Resovoir is full, lines are good. I cleaned the nozzles as best i could, I'll remove them and try it with more chemicals.
