So I recently traded for a multiport swapped 1991 hatch manual. I'm not super impressed by the craftsmanship but it came with parts and I didn't have to add money.

Anyways. The car runs ok when cold. Idles high and stumbles and missfires with moderate throttle. But when its warm it dies or refuses to rev when given very little throttle. A small amount will work but anything more than like an eighth and it dies.idles around 1200 rpm. Any guidance would be appreciated.

So far done.
resoldered the swap harness. Havent checked wiring yet.
gapped and cleaned spark plugs.
Cleaned throttle body
Fixed obv vaccum leaks.
Checked spark on all cylinders
oil change
Full gas tank
Messed with distributor.

 

Sounds like a possible TPS issue, maybe replace it or recalibrate it.
