2013 accord Sprot I4 VTC bulletin
Does anyone have the VTC repair bulletin for the 2013 accord sport? I am having issues finding the bulletin for my specific car. I had planned on replacing the VTC myself and have already ordered the part, I took the valve cover off today and noticed that the VTC on my engine is on the firewall side of the motor rather than the radiator side. This is diffferent from the various Youtube videos I have seen, which has me in search for the correct bulletin to follow for the repair. I have searched and searched and am only finding a bulletin that annoyingly reads to not fix anything, we are working on an update. That was 2018, wheres the update?
My car has made this noise at startup for years now, everything I have read said it does no harm so I just let it go. Earlier this week it got worse. It will rattle upon acceleration until it starts to warm up. I assume this has something to do with the very cold weather we have had over the past few days. Does anyone have any insight into why it would be making the noise for that long now?
Id like to get the car right as I have owned it since new. Currently has 190K miles and hope to put on another 190K.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Aweful annoying to realize this has been going on with these cars now for decades. My car does have a lifetime power train warranty, but I have not kept up with all the service records, so I assume my dealer I purchased from is going to be zero help.
