I have an '03 LX and had a similar issue but with codes. I would be driving and just lose all power and acceleration. For me, it turned out to be the O2 sensors that were failing and eventually the cat converter clogging. I should note that the car has over 360k on the original motor. Not sure if this helps you but O2 sensors are cheap and easy to change. I do recommend using copper anti seize instead of what the manufacturer puts on there. It will help you greatly in the long run. Just don't over do it and accidentally get some down in the sensor like I did the first time. You'll end up having to get a second sensor.
