95 coupe EJ2 - To b20 swap
Hello there! I ‘m a little confused about the swap
I whant to swap from D15B7 to B20Z1
what i get already:
s80 LSD with 4.7 FD gearbox with his axles and midle shaft
B series shift linkage
B series EG6 engine mounts( driver, passager side)
T bracket
Now i buy B20Z1 manual longblock with all accesories on it with engine wire harness and ecu also, from a LHD 01 CR-V
I whant to put this engine, wiring loom ,ecu in my car.
what else modifications i request to make it?
thank you

Throw away the wiring and ecu because it doesn't go into the eg. You use your d15b7 harness, injectors and an obd1 ecu, either stock p75 or chipped.
If im using my harness on it, do i rewire the distribuitor and alternator?
what i searched someone says i can use my D series alternator and “jumper harness” for distribuitor, and maybe extend some wiress
the D injectors is smaller or the same as b20
also for ecu… a chipped p28 (basemap and disable vtec and knock sensor ) should be good if im gonna make vtec in future

Your fuel injectors are the same size as those found on the B20Z. Using your alternator will likely rub the frame rail unless you beat the crap out of it for clearance... sourcing a '90-95 Integra alternator will be plug-n-play. Also, if you get a '92-95 Integra non-VTEC distributor, it will also be plug-n-play... or, you can buy a jumper harness online and use the stock B20Z distributor. If you are using a chipped P75 or P28 ECU, don't worry about the knock sensor, and you will need the purge control solenoid off your original intake manifold to plug things in... but otherwise, you will be good to go.
D series alternator will not rub the frame rail but you will need to get a smaller belt.
If you have an actual b20z2 distributor it should have the same 8 pin plug as your EG at the distributor. You can plug it in and you take the blue wire from the 8 pin plug and connect it to the blue wire on the 2 pin plug from the eg harness.
