Default running on 3 cylinders problem

90 crx si (d16a6) stock
cars runs fine when its on road, at idle standing still runs on 3 cylinders-some white smoke out of tailpipe, exhaust blew a hole-was old anyway.
no checkengine lights
so far i checked:

sparkplug test when on all 4cyl good, except when on 3 cylinders the
sparkplugs are good except n0.1 little wet(gas) no spark getting there - can tell.

plugwires-are good, tried a different set- good too
checked primary winding resitance in igntion coil, 1.2 ohms- post to be in .63-.77 ohms-replace maybe neccsary.
secondary winding restance checked out ok.

igntier havent checked that but getting to it-could that be a sympton of a igniter going bad?

anybody ever have this happned to them?
any post or feedback
thanx

The best I can say is make sure your wires on on tight. When I mush my wire caps into the valve cover, I hear a little pop, which means that they are "clicking" into the plugs. One time after changing my wires, I didn't push one in far enough, and I only got 3 cylinders running.

k here we go.. its an idea that might help u a lot

i changed headgaskets not too long ago bc of white smoke comming out of exhaust, and runnin on 3 cyl , bad hesitation etc....
well it went away after repairs..
yesterday i got same problems...
i checked my #1 spark and it was black and wet... well i decided to check the #1 injector and its fried....was being open all the time, making my cyl run rich, burn too much fuel and make a bad firing, and smoke...changed it and problem away ...
anyways check the resistance between the 2 injectors terminals... if u got 4G injectos they should be between 1.5-3.5 ohms... if not replace them ASAP and see if thats the problem... i cna bet 10 bucks thats it...

checked injectors, good and in spec.
Me and my brother went back to cap&rotor, after real close inspection, cap points worn and the rotor had a slight gap around the metal part, worn out.

switched his new parts from his car to mine just to see, bam started up and ran like normal. ran down to local discount picked up a new rotor&cap for $20.00.

running around all day in my car like normal - solved
