Hi All - Newby here so be gentle I've just got the loan of a 1990 Civic (ED6) Hatch and have been chasing a leak. First thought it was the Distributor O ring so ordered replacement. Strangely the Honda replacement seemed loose and slightly too thin so haven't replaced that yet I need to find one that fits better. Anyone had this issue?
In the meantime I realised the main leak seems to be coming from the part circled in the pic, but I don't know what this part is? can someone let me know and recommend fix to deal with the leak it's coming from the brown seal. Thanks!
My best guess is; a spacer between the cylinder head and a mechanical fuel pump. Tighten the bolts, clean the mating surfaces, add a gasket or some appropriate sealant.
