I have a D17 that was running very poorly. My OBD two scanner was connecting perfect to the port so with the car running, I was pulling sensors to try to pinpoint exactly what sensor was the problem I noticed that my number four injector wasn’t working and while pulling what I believe to be mass airflow sensor the two wires touched in the car shut off. I then tried to start it and it would just crank but no start. I tried hooking my OBD reader back up with nothing. It’s just says failure to connect. I’m afraid I fried my ECU. Also my alternator fuse was blown along with my fuel pump fuse
