So after 8 years my compressor TR70 (4 seasons ref 57571) has shown some signs of unhappiness... it was a bit noisy with the recent heat wave... 90ish in town. I still have the inefficient serpentine condenser and I need to upgrade to a parallel flow which of course is not offered for this vintage! The compressor can still be found as a remanufactured which is what I have.

There is a post on the non classic civic about fitting a parallel condenser and as usual it will require some adaptation as the layout of the AC pipes and hoses have changed across the years.
