Default Pics of some junk antique Hondas.

Here's some pics I had saved from over the years, not many (hopefully that's a good thing, we don't want to see that many "junk" antique Honda's).

Anyway, here they are:

S600 on a mound of other junk (car actually looks to be a good parts car, or even a restoration candidate)

S500 beyond repair:

S800 Coupe, this car looks to have been rolled over:

Honda T360, this poor little truck has probably been rotting away in this spot for decades:

Honda T500, another one rotting away.

Honda T500, this one is actually in Canada, and is one of two known to exist in North america. Don't know if it's savable or not, my guess is not.

A pair of T360's. I found these little guys for sale on yahoo Japan and I considered buying them to make one good truck out of the two, until I learned how expensive it was to internationally ship two in-op vehichles.

That's all for now, I'll post more if/when I find them. My friend in Canada has a parts S600 that was in a head-on collision with something big (I want to say Chrysler New Yorker, or something like that). The car folded up like a pop can, I'll try to get some pics and post that.

Those little trucks are pimpin'! They look great for carrying heavy stuff in tight spaces. I hope there's still a good amount of functional ones out there.

In Japan, there's a nice following for the old T-series trucks. Although Honda made over 119,000 of these truck, not many remain. Keep in mind, at the time these were cheap disposable/replaceable trucks that got well used, so when the trucks wore out, they were often junked or left out in the fields where they last stopped running. The ones that remain are usually the ones that were well kept, as most of the well-used trucks aren't worth fixing (as in the pics above).

There's a very nice T360 for sale on Yahoo Japan, if this price was a little lower, or if I didn't have so many other ongoing projects, I would consider importing it.

Definetly a nice piece for the JDM/Honda collector nut. I'm smitten with this little truck.

smithenhiven, you seem to know a thing or two about importing old non-US spec cars: how much does it cost to ship a functioning car that is, say, 30 some years old to the US (just a rough ballpark from port to port)? And is it hard to register/insure?

Pic of car I'm interested in bringing over (ours is a darker blue, sitting in our garage in Novosibirsk):

Sorry for the OT post.

CivicWagonRUS,

I'd say expect international shipping to run you at least $1,500-$2,000 easily. Then you'd add on some import duties to the customs office (but perhaps not if this is a car you already own), broker fees to clear it through customs (unless you do this yourself), then frieght shipping from the port of entry to you (unless you pick it up there yourself).

Oh, that's not too bad. I really want to bring it over for my dad's birthday, one of these years. It's really cool: rear engine, air cooled, v-4 (sounds like a bug), even has a crank start. Thanks for the help.

Do you know when it's due to arrive? I'll be out at his shop in a few weeks or month or so, and would like to check it out.
