Default Wire from battery to taillight

hey all, 1995 civic lx (4 door) I have to run a wire from thebattery to the tail light.. Is there a easier way then drill a hole in the firewall, and fish it under the plastic trim (both doors) and thru the back seat?
I know Im not the first to have to do this, so if anyone has an easier way, I would appreciate how you did it
Thanks

Looking at the battery and you will find a round rubber grommet about the size a quarter on the firewall. Use a utility knife and cut a “+” and push wire through. You can use a metal coat hanger to help. What’s your reason to run a wire to the back ?

I am going to tow a small trailer and have to wire the trailer lights. The trailer light converter requires a hot wire

Thanks for the idea, worked great. I did not realize that the carpet was connected to the plastic door trim. Worked beautifully
Thanks again
