Default Steering issue after crash

I recently lost control and smacked a guardrail. Luckily no frame damage but my steering feels as something in my steering column is bent as it doesn’t return when I let go of the wheel mid turn. The crash also knocked my alignment out of place. I’m not a mechanic but do service/fix my cars myself. I have no experience in fixing crash damage and I was wondering how I should go about diagnosing my issue. The car has power steering that still works when stationary. Thanks for reading!

Default Re: Steering issue after crash

I would check the alignment and all suspension arms for distortion.
