Seized Caliper?
Recently I was driving my civic to work and started hearing a weird scratching noise when driving. Sounded like maybe a warped rotor, so i bought all the brake replacement parts from AutoZone and did a full brake refresh with new pads and rotors, however when i went to drive my car after installing everything my brakes sound like they are grinding constantly and noticeably loud. I thought i may have had installed something incorrectly, but upon inspection everything was completely fine. While i was installing the brakes and rotors no bolts were stripped or broken and there really weren't any problems with the install and it went smoothly, even compressing the caliper was without issue and it didn't seem overly soft or hard. I read some other threads and haven't had much luck at finding an answer besides a possible seized caliper.

A "seized" caliper usually means the slide pins are frozen inside the caliper. When you did the brake pad job did you remove & Re-grease each pin with silicone disc brake grease? There are two pins per caliper.
