Default 2012 Honda Civic EX Bad Wheel Bearing and or Bad CV Axle

I inherited a 2012 Honda Civic EX from my dad when he passed Valentines Day 2022. Dad had just bought the car, he'd only got to drive it a couple times. He'd never spent that much money on a vehicle in his whole 77 yrs. So he was very proud of it. Got a great deal. It barley had 60,000 miles. I just now got it to a 100,000 But started hearing a bad wheel bearing abt a yr ago. But abt 2 days ago when cutting it to the left which is the bad wheel bearing. I'm hearing a clicking bad axle type sound as well. So I have now pretty much parked the car. Until I can make sure what the problem is with it. I'm a female and most men doesn't want to hear anything that I have to say on any vehicle repairing issues. But after being raised with a car crazed dad, 2 older brothers that do all their repairs and dad's twin brother a car salesman until he passed this yr. I'm probably one of the best ppl to diagnose any vehicle by sound and not witnessing the issues. I to was married to a ASE master certified technician for over 20 years until he passed 2019. He used to say, I was the best he'd ever met to tell someone what the problem was just by what they told me and if it made a sound, me hearing it. And he loved tbat i had enough sense to pay attention, so if i had a issue i knew what to do and not maje it worse then it was. Ive parked a few running hot and what not. So my question is? Could the wheel bearing being driven for at least a yr or longer and bad. Be coming apart? U know separating bc of the dry friction and be the sound I could be hearing? Other then a bad cv axle? I plan to jack it up and get underneath it tomorrow to take a better look. But I'm really worrying abt this issue. I know just a cracked rubber boot can cause this as well. But I knew better then to continue driving it. But Ive not had the money or the help now that I'm widowed. A woman should truly think abt how thankful she should be and men to if they have a mechanic in the family. Bc their rt up there to me as a specialist Dr.
